The route
You travel along small roads following signs for the V5.
Note the steep sections between Audierne and Kerdréal.
Between Loctudy and L’île Tudy, we recommend taking the little ferry (but check the time schedules in advance). Otherwise, taking the longer way round, there is a cycle lane along the D 2 road from Loctudy to the town of Pont-l’Abbé; then heading east, another cycle lane along the D 144 road leads to L’île Tudy.
The signposts end at the port of Sainte-Marine. To cross from here to the resort of Bénodet opposite, the small ferry is as much fun as the bridge.
Buses
Buses on certain lines of the Finistère’s Penn-ar-Bed county network are equipped with bicycle racks including: line 53B Quimper – Audierne – Pointe du Raz and line 56A Quimper – Pont l’Abbé – Le Guilvinec – Saint-Guénolé
Ferry links
You can take a small ferry with your bike between:
- Loctudy and L’Ile Tudy
- Sainte Marine and Bénodet
