Le Croisic
At the level of the greenway to Beslon, it’s possible to head off west to the end of the Le Croisic Peninsula. This route passes through historic Batz-sur-Mer, designated a Petite Cité de Caractère, and then offers you a panoramic tour of the sensational peninsula. The superb Grande Côte cycle track leads you back via an unforgettable route passing through the port of Le Pouliguen before returning to La Baule.

Cycle route

Look out for a mix of signs, both for Vélocéan and for local cycling circuits. The route runs out briefly at La Baule-Escoublac, while the official Vélocéan route doesn’t go further west than the exit to Batz-sur-Mer (on the D 45 road).
You need to follow a mix of cycle tracks and bicycle lanes, as well as small roads with light traffic.
Note that the cycle track along the D 192 road runs out abruptly just before that road passes under the railway line at La Baule-Escoublac.
