34,66 km cycling route from Evran to Montreuil-sur-Ille
Leave Evran along the north bank of the Canal d’Ille et Rance. Two authentic, historic stops are Tinténiac, with its museum dedicated to old crafts and tools, and Hédé, with its remarkable 11 locks in a row. This stage is entirely along greenways, so it’s ideal for family outings.

The route
The route is signposted all along the way, but make sure you’re following the signs marked ‘V2’. Virtually the whole stage is along specially dedicated cycle lanes. The surface on the towpath is of compacted sand and fairly easy to cycle along, but look out for furrows caused by rainwater.
