The route

When you arrive in Massy, the Veloscenic split up in two ways. On this 18km-long stage, you are heading to Versailles. The first 5km from Massy to Vauboyen train station are still provisional and without signs. They should be put in place in April 2017.

In the meantime, please find below the directions:

Leaving the Coulée Verte, you arrive at the "19 mars 1962" roundabout, takes the second exit, onto the cycle path that goes along the RD60 toward Igny.

Turn right to exit RD60 and continue straight onto avenue Jean-Jaurès, toward Gare Sncf / Boulodrome. Pass in front of the RER Igny station and continue onto allée du Garde Messier and turn left on a path along the Bièvres river.
Cross rue du Moulin and cycle onto chemin de Marienthal in front of you, follow the road towards left. Do not cycle onto the path along the river.

Continue straight onto chemin de l'Ecluse, l’Avenue de la Gare, and then at the little roundabout, turn right and then immediately turn left on Rue des Prés.

Cross rue de la Martinière and continue onto Chemin des Prés de Vauboyen. Turn left onto Chemin des Charbonniers. Aftergoing over Vauboyen RER station, you will find back the Veloscenic signs turning right on the cycle path.

Then, most of the cycling is on cycle paths or small tracks, sometimes shared with cars. This stage is easily accessible to families, as it is safe, with few slopes.

The route follows the rapid rail line, RER C, between Massy and Versailles, which means that you can take a train on from various spots if you need.
