30,27 km cycling route from Cajarc to Capdenac-Gare
At Cajarc, we switch to the right bank to cycle along the old railroad line, soon to be converted into a greenway. A peaceful cycling itinerary dotted with castles and authentic villages, each with its own little nuggets. From Saint-Pierre-Toirac, the more adventurous can head for the beautiful town of Figeac, so typical of the Quercy region. Other cyclists continue along the left bank of the river, which quickly leads to Capdenac-Gare, a former railway junction.

The cycle route
Provisional unmarked route to Larroque-Toirac. We follow the right bank of the Lot at the foot of the hillside on the D662 in pleasant surroundings as far as Saint-Pierre-Toirac. Here you cross the Lot on the D38. The D86 then follows, with moderate traffic, a winding road along the left bank with a gentle gradient as far as La Madeleine. Take care here at the junction with the D992. A few inclines and more traffic as far as Saint-Julien-d'Empare. Access to Capdenac-Gare via rues S. Allende and A.Thomas.
To Figeac: unmarked, undeveloped link (15 km). At Saint-Pierre-Toirac, stay on the D662 and climb the winding road to Faycelles and Figeac. Beware of traffic on the last few kilometers after the D19.
