Halle Chambertin
In the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, in the centre of the Capital of the Grands Crus, the Halle Chambertin opens its doors to wine, tourism and nature lovers
The place, located in the old village hall, offers a real immersion in the world of wine with areas dedicated to the discovery of the winegrower's profession, the Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne - listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site - and the village wines
The "Wine of Kings, King of Wines" is revealed during a commented tasting of regional, village and premier cru appellations from various Gevrey-Chambertin estates. The wines are stored in enomatics to preserve their aromas and are open to tasting by the glass. A system of paying cards gives the choice between 4 formulas of service to answer at best the desires of each one. These same wines are also available for purchase on site
There are also areas devoted to the village's treasures, with the Combe Lavaux National Nature Reserve revealing the secrets of the fauna and flora present on the 487 ha of the site, and the cabinet of curiosities where objects specific to the traditions of Gibriaçois are on display
The Tourist Office will open the doors of this site and help you understand it through the many interactive tools offered in this space. Children's games are also available for the little ones to spend a convivial moment.
