LE BIVOUAC : A CAMPING made in LE CAMP DE BASE .

Designed with you in mind, whether you're out and about on a hiking or cycling road trip, or even mucking about in a car or van. If alternating between wild camping spots and farm campsites is a way of travelling that suits you, then this bivouac site has been designed and created for you. Reduced to the bare essentials in terms of equipment, with dry toilets, an outdoor shower, a washbasin, a drinking water point and an open, covered outdoor space for cooking and recharging your batteries. By bivouacking at the BASE CAMP, you stay true to your adventurous desires... and you opt for the luxury of peace, space and silence.

LE CAMP DE BASE is a multi-purpose site which, as well as being a place where you can bivouac, is also the ideal place from which to practise climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, trail running or raids, during sessions supervised by our instructors, or during courses.
The campsite is located on a former industrial wasteland with a panoramic view over the Rouvre valley. A large area is dedicated to tents for bivouacs and a space is reserved for vans and converted cars, all in the middle of a 4,000 m2 garden. Numerous trees have been replanted to give a central place to nature, so that you can admire as many birds as possible and watch the bees foraging in the preserved areas of tall grass and flowering fallow. The owners live on site, their house is in the hangar, and the hangar's former offices have been converted into a gîte for 6 people, called LE REFUGE du CAMP DE BASE.
