Description

Completely renovated in 2025, this 90 m² village house, rated 3 stars, welcomes you to Sainte-Flaive-des-Loups, nestled between the coast and the countryside.
Ideally situated for exploring the Vendée, it is 20 minutes from Les Sables-d’Olonne and 50 minutes from Puy du Fou.
L’Échappée accommodates up to 4 people in an elegant and cosy interior.
A lovely living area with a fully fitted kitchen, two large bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms and private toilets.
Bed linen and towels are provided.

The accommodation:
The house is spread over two floors and has been designed to ensure everyone can make the most of their stay.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living area combining a lounge with a large-screen TV, a dining area and a fully equipped open-plan kitchen.
You’ll find everything you need to cook just like at home: an induction hob, oven, microwave, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, Senseo machine, kettle, toaster, raclette machine, as well as plenty of small appliances.
A few essential items are provided for your convenience: salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar, tea, herbal teas, a few Senseo pods, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels and cleaning products.
A separate toilet with a washbasin, a storage area with a wardrobe, as well as a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms each have their own unique atmosphere. The Bois Sacré suite is fitted with a 160 × 200 cm bed, whilst the Écume de Mer suite features a 140 × 200 cm bed. Both have their own en-suite bathroom with toilet, a desk, a wardrobe, a hairdryer and an electric towel warmer.

For your comfort:
• Free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
• The beds are made before your arrival and towels are provided.
• Three fans are available for your use (one in each bedroom and one in the living room).
• Both bedrooms are fitted with a large motorised Velux window with a rain sensor and an electric roller shutter. All other rooms have electric roller shutters.

The entire property is at your disposal, with the exception of a locked cupboard under the stairs and a door in the kitchen, which is not accessible.

• Rubbish storage / Bicycle storage:
The rubbish storage area is located directly opposite L’Échappée.
You can also store your bicycles, pushchairs, bodyboards and scooters there.
This is a private, shared area.
It is monitored by CCTV.

• Baby kit:
A baby kit is available on request at a cost of €30 per stay.
Please book at least 48 hours before your arrival and pay on site.
It includes a wooden cot with a mattress, a mattress protector, a fitted sheet, a sleeping bag, a baby bath, a changing mat, a high chair and everything you need for mealtimes.
Safety gates are installed free of charge when you’re staying with a baby.

• ‘La Belle Aventure’ appetiser platter:
To get your stay off to a good start, we offer an appetiser platter prepared by our partner restaurant, La Belle Aventure.
Priced at €40 for 4 people, it includes charcuterie and cheeses from the Vendée region, raw vegetables, a baguette, butter and a complimentary 75 cl bottle of local beer.
Must be ordered at least 48 hours before your arrival and paid for on site.

• Pets:
Only one dog is permitted per booking. Cats are not permitted.
Charge: €5 per day.

• Security:
For everyone’s safety, a CCTV camera is installed outside the house. It only films the entrances to the property and does not cover any interior or private areas.

• The house is also equipped with smoke detectors, a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit.

Important information:
• Strictly non-smoking property.
• Parties and events are not permitted.
• Bicycles are not allowed inside the house.
• The house does not have a garden.
• The property is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

• Surroundings and amenities:
Situated in the heart of the village, L’Échappée offers easy access on foot to local shops and services: a bakery, a mini-market, restaurants, a bar, a chemist’s, a newsagent’s, a hairdresser’s, a beauty salon and a florist.

Although the house does not have a garden, just a short walk away you’ll find the Parc de la Chênaie, with children’s play areas, a multi-purpose sports ground and the start of several walking trails.

• Access and parking:
It’s easy to get to the accommodation. It’s not possible to park directly in front of the house, but there are several free parking spaces available nearby.
