Kokoni - "Koko"
Surrounded by meadows, hills and peaks, our four K-banes (tiny houses) are located just a stone's throw from the river on the edge of Arette, a small village in the Haut-Béarn region nestled in the Barétous valley, on the edge of the Basque Country and in the heart of the Atlantic Pyrenees (64). Here, the mountains are grandiose and gentle, the lights are beautiful and the seasons are flamboyant. The elegant architecture and the pure lines of our K-bane fit soberly into a beautiful and generous nature. The deep black cladding made of burnt wood makes it a sober and precious object. This natural technique called Shou-sugi-ban (or Yakisugi), which consists of burning the surface of the wood, originates from Japan. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is available, as well as a bicycle room. There is also a Nordic bath in the open air.
