In a hamlet, on the edge of the Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne Franche-Comté, which is Gy, you will be able to enjoy between woods and a small natural pond (with island), a house which has just finished a year-long renovation, and now offering modern equipment and a deco-brocante style decoration highlighting the owner's grandmother's former dairy, where the gîte is located.

Enjoy this stop at La Charmotte, a place with a history, where holidaymakers (another gite in the property), cyclists, pilgrims, workers, from all over the world, meet for a stop among the flowers of the park, and the animals, and this for more than 35 years, with rare moments, rich in true encounters... Commented visits of thegarden and sharing of plants and productions according to the seasons.
This independent, single-storey house is the complete renovation of the workshop and the cheese maker's accommodation. It includes a large open plan living room with dining room, lounge and fitted kitchen. 3 bedrooms: 2 with each a bed 140 and a bedroom with 2 beds 90 that can be twinned. Shower room and separate toilet.

Gy, the old winegrowing town and its castle that can be visited, is close to other Cités de Caractère, such as Bucey-Les-Gy and Fondremand, Pesmes, Marnay, Gray (Fine Arts Museum, Museum, etc..), and gives to discover in the close surroundings, as well a circuit of the laundries, as farmers, crafts, and also a magnificent garden, Acorus, "labeled remarkable" in Autoreille (6 km). Enjoy a break offered by the Monts de Gy, to hikers: wild orchids, lily of the valley, stag's breeze, mushrooms ... while waiting for the cycle of nature to start again!
Don't forget binoculars and camera to observe the numerous birds of prey and herons going from the wood to the pond.
