From Port-sur-Saône, heading for Ray-sur-Saône, following the confluence with the Durgeon, the loops of a wild Saône. Scey-sur-Saône and its islands form a relaxing stopover, near the St-Albin tunnel, a perfect illustration of the art of river tunnels. The keep of Rupt-sur-Saône and the castle of Ray-sur-Saône are unmistakable landmarks along the route.

Alternating greenways, towpaths and short passages over low-traffic departmental roads. Note a 300 m passage on a paved sector near Rupt-sur-Saône. Short climbs to the St-Albin tunnel and Ray-sur-Saône. A great family experience, apart from the service to Port-sur-Saône.

Currently marked Charles le Téméraire.
Warning: on sections closed to traffic, there may be service vehicles or fishing vehicles.

EuroVelo 6 link in Vesoul

At the confluence with the Durgeon, the Green Road leads you to Vesoul and then to EuroVelo 6 to enable you to reach Roulans on the banks of the Doubs. The Greenway stops at Loulans-Verchamp and then attacks the hills of the Doubs department. Be careful, these 22 kilometres on small roads are steep and require good physical condition.
