Description

The Mirabellum is an interpretation centre dedicated to the camp of the 8th legion established at Mirebeau-sur-Bèze in the 1st century AD. Inaugurated at the end of September 2019, the Mirabellum presents the history of the camp of the VIIIth Augustan Legion, the daily life of the legionary, the archaeological discoveries made at Mirebeau-sur-Bèze and the work of archaeologists.
