Moulin de Rotrou
On the borders of Maine, Anjou and Touraine, in the town of Vaas, in the heart of the Loir Valley, the Rotrou Mill is still running, much to the delight of visitors and walkers alike. Unique in the region, the Moulin de Rotrou, a 16th-century water-powered mill, is open to groups of at least 10 people from July to the end of August.
Come to the Rotrou mill and admire the river, the dam and, above all, the great paddle wheel that drives all the machinery that turns wheat into flour. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our passion for the history of wheat, mills and water.
