Close to the Bordeaux and Bergerac appellations, in the north of the Lot-et-Garonne region, you'll discover the history of AOC Côtes de Duras at this characterful estate, with a visit to the winery and an introduction to wine tasting. The estate produces biodynamic AOC Côtes de Duras wine. The owners organize cellar tours and tastings of the range (7 wines: dry white, red and sweet). They also offer a walk through the vineyard, with its 60 identified plants and wild orchids, and welcome you to their Bacchus gîte.
The 5 senses trail is open every Wednesday from June to September at 10 a.m., upon reservation.
The Bireaud family's concern for the environment and its biodiversity is reflected in the discovery of wild plants, followed by a tasting of the estate's wines, with morning pickings and local produce.
