This date will take you back in time. We're taking you on a bike ride like no other. Follow in the footsteps of our mining history through a series of stops. How could we not start with our pride and joy, the Centre Historique Minier de Lewarde, France's largest mining museum? Here, you'll discover the working conditions of miners, and coal will no longer hold any secrets for you. You'll then head for the mining towns of Masny, where you'll discover a unique architectural style. And to top it all off, you'll cycle to the Sainte-Marie slag heap in Auberchicourt, to discover this mining site where nature has reclaimed its rights.
