The route
From Roscoff's lighthouse, you head off east to the Port du Bloscon, then follow signposting for the V7. Once you've passed the railway line along the D58, the way is shared with the Vélodyssée cycle route. You mainly stick to minor parish roads, but need to ride along the larger RD769 road from Kerlaudy to Penzé over a distance of 5.5km. At the Cale St-Yves, the crossing can be briefly covered by water, particularly during high tide, so either wait for the waters to subside, or then go around via the D58, but taking great care on this road. Also take care as you cross the D58 near the Pont de la Corde bridge at Kerlaudy. Certain slopes along the way have a gradient of over 10%.
Link to Morlaix train station (not signposted): at the intersection with the D219 road, close to the Auberge de Jeunesse (Youth Hostel), you can reach the SNCF railway station (providing regional and high-speed intercity train services) via the north side, going via the street signalled as Voie d'accès au Port and Rue Albert Le Grand, this stretch lasting 1.5km. To reach Morlaix bus station, on the south side, you need to use the station footbridge – note that there is a lift in which you can take your bike."
