1, rue Jeanne Say Brissac-Quincé 49320 Brissac Loire Aubance
France's tallest château, with 7 storeys and 204 rooms, this monument deserves its nickname of "Giant of the Loire Valley".

Acquired in 1502 by René de Cossé, 1st Lord of Brissac, it is now the residence of the 14th Duke of Brissac. It remains open to visitors, with so much to contemplate: its 16th-century chapel and Belle Epoque theatre, its dazzling décor featuring gilded ceilings, tapestries and precious furnishings. Its parkland offers beautiful vantage points in the shade of century-old trees.

The château can only be visited with a guided tour (last entrance to château and grounds: 1 hour before closing time). Outside the period indicated in the opening hours, please ask on the answering machine and on the website. Picnics are not permitted in the Château grounds, but there is a picnic area nearby.
This establishment is Accueil Vélo and offers specific services for cyclists.
