MAISON NATALE DE JEANNE D' ARC

2 rue de la Basilique 88630 Domrémy-la-Pucelle
2 rue de la Basilique 88630 Domrémy-la-Pucelle
It is in a modest farmer's house that Joan of Arc was born, around 1412, during the Hundred Years War
Since the 15th century, this site has been preserved and enriched with sculptures and inscriptions, in homage to this emblematic character of French History. While the façade traces the six centuries of this house, its four small and sober interior rooms invite the visitor to meditate, in the footsteps of a young girl who became a world famous heroine.
