La Chaume en Loire

Description

In the small village of Devay overlooking the Loire, we welcome you to an old renovated farmhouse.

We offer 5 spacious rooms (including a family room also organised to allow access for people with reduced mobility) decorated with a farm theme. Each room has its own private shower and toilet.

The building can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people (maximum 12 adults and 2 children).

There is a west-facing terrace surrounded by vegetation, and a covered south-facing terrace overlooking a tree-lined garden that keeps cool in summer. You can enjoy your home-cooked breakfasts in complete tranquillity.

We are located in the countryside, along the EV6 (Euro Véloroute which runs from the Atlantic to the Black Sea) and 5 km (15 minutes) from the Canal du Nivernais via the EV6.

You'll enjoy a quiet, welcoming stay in a setting that's ideal for walking, cycling, fishing and discovering the flora and fauna of Europe's last wild river: the Loire.

Depending on the season, you can take part in fishing trips for small fry in the Loire, crayfish in the Morvan, or mushroom picking, which you can eat or prepare on site.

We can also organise a picnic on the banks of the Loire or in the forest, depending on your walking or cycling itinerary, or even a canoe trip on the Loire.
