From the towns of Bordeaux or Agen, join the beautiful Lot Valley Cycle Route via the Canal des 2 Mers Cycle Route. Then, crossing extensive orchards in the county of the Lot-et-Garonne and elegant vineyards in the county of the Lot, the meandering Lot Valley véloroute passes countless traditional riverside and perched villages. For now, the route stops at Cahors, an historic town on the famed Compostela pilgrimage way, designated a Ville d'Art & d'Histoire for its cultural riches. The track should be extended to the Lot River’s source in due course. Discover this lovely route in 2 to 3 days.
