Taking you to the elegant Renaissance château at Cormatin, this stage on the greenways of Southern Burgundy continues on the trail of the disused railway line meandering along below the vine-covered Côte Chalonnaise slopes. There are hundreds of heritage delights to discover in the unspoilt villages and medieval churches dotted around.
Route details
Along an unbroken greenway, making for easy cycling.
There are several further well-signposted cycling circuits to explore around the greenway. Look at the maps available on the spot or pick up the free map, Voies Vertes & Cyclotourisme, published by Bourgogne du Sud Tourisme (the Southern Burgundy Tourist Board).
