The Lot Valley Cycle Route wends its way along 430 km, crossing extensive orchards in the county of the Lot-et-Garonne and elegant vineyards in the county of the Lot, passing countless traditional riverside and perched villages. Discover the Lot Valley lifestyle, which combines a delight in local produce and gastronomy, outdoor activities and remarkable cultural heritage.
Signposting and state of the itinerary
The Lot Valley Cycle Route is entirely signposted.
The route is mostly set on shared roads with few traffic. Few climbs on the itinerary / to join the villages in the heights.

More than 30 accomodations (campings, hotels, lodges, guest houses) "Accueil Vélo" ("Cyclists Welcome") are located at less than 5km away from the itinerary and they guarantee quality services for cyclists such as a closed garage for example. We strongly advise to book your accomodations in advance (including campings), especially in touristic areas.
Trains and public transports alongside the Lot Valley Cycle Route
- Aiguillon Train Station : several trains heading to Bordeaux, Agen, Toulouse.
Monsempron-Libos Train Station : trains TER to Périgueux-Agen and to Bordeaux & Toulouse through Agen. TER Bus for Cahors.
Cahors Train Station : trains TER to Toulouse. "Intercités" for Paris-Austerlitz.
