LA TOUE DE BLAIN-L'ASSOUPIE
L’Assoupie, the “toue” boat of Blain, is a traditional boat that was used at the height of the era of navigation on the river Loire. It was used to help with the manoeuvres of the large ships on the river Loire, which sailed upstream. It was also used as a fishing boat, a freight boat, or a tow barge for the royalty, the bourgeoisie, and the people, in order to travel between the towns and hamlets along the river Loire.
We operate from April to the end of October. The boat has housing and a large patio. Various options, some of which including meals, from 1 to 6 hours. The “toue” boat can also house a couple with two children for an original stay in the marina of Blain.
