Its museum area is dedicated to the history of the Transporter Bridge, giving visitors an insight into how the structure works and its place in France and the rest of the world. Digital modules are available. Visits are free of charge.

Leaving from the Maison du Transbordeur, follow the Mission Transbordeur and enjoy 1? hours of games and puzzles with friends or family.

From Rochefort, take part in guided tours on Tuesdays and Fridays at 3pm from March 31st to October 30th 2026. You'll discover the Maison du Transbordeur in the company of a site guide (1h15 visit).
