Camping de l'Ile par Aquadis Loisirs
Two hours from Paris, on the left bank of the Loire, between Burgundy and Berry, Camping de l'île borders the flowery town of Cosne-sur-Loire. Located on the banks of the Loire, our campsite faces the largest wild river in Europe. A place of relaxation and leisure, the Loire valley offers canoeing, cycling and beautiful walks in a relaxing setting. We have 131 spacious, delimited pitches with electricity, including 10 latest generation mobile homes, on a 4 hectare site.
The campsite has all the information you need to find out about the best tourist attractions in the area, the best restaurants, local produce and much more! A must-see for families in the region is the Château de Guédelon, a medieval construction site with a magnificent park and many workshops for children.
Opposite the campsite, you can go canoeing on the Loire with "Canoë Evasion", or cycling along the famous Loire by bike route. For our little ones, don't forget to take them to O'Parc, a children's amusement park located right next to the campsite.
A few kilometres away, our vineyards, close to Sancerre and Pouilly-sur-Loire, produce highly appreciated wines under the A.O.C labels "Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Coteaux du Giennois". Another flagship product is the "Crottin de Chavignol", a goat's cheese made locally using an ancestral technique...
