Two hours from Paris, on the left bank of the Loire, between Burgundy and Berry, Camping de l'île borders the flower-filled town of Cosne-sur-Loire. Situated on the banks of the Loire, our campsite faces the largest wild river in Europe. The Loire valley is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself, with canoeing, cycling and beautiful walks in a relaxing setting. We have 119 spacious pitches with electricity, including 10 state-of-the-art mobile homes, on a 13-hectare site.

The campsite has all the information you need to discover the best tourist attractions in the area, the best restaurants, local produce and much more! A must-see for families in the region is the Château de Guédelon, a historic medieval construction site with magnificent grounds and numerous workshops for children.

Opposite the campsite, you can go canoeing on the Loire with "Canoë Evasion", or cycling along the famous "Loire à vélo" route. For our little ones, don't forget to take them to O'Parc, a children's amusement park right next to the campsite.

A few kilometres away, our vineyards, close to Sancerre and Pouilly-sur-Loire, produce much-loved wines under the A.O.C labels "Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé and Coteaux du Giennois". Another flagship product is "Crottin de Chavignol", a goat's cheese made locally using an ancestral technique...
