Centre d'interprétation du Château de Châteauneuf
The castle has watched over the valley for 900 years! Its incredibly well-preserved medieval architecture protects high-quality interior decorations dating from the Middle Ages to the 17th century.
Owned by the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Region since 2008, it is fully managed, restored and run by the Region.
The fully restored guest house houses an Interpretation Centre with innovative multimedia facilities (video, images, sound). The centre provides a better understanding of the history of the château and how it has evolved over the centuries, and adds a new attraction to visits to the site. The tower of this former dwelling now houses a copy of Philippe Pot's tomb, with a new sound and light show.
The site can be visited freely or on guided tours.
