Musée de la Métallurgie Ardennaise
A showcase of know-how and an unequivocal heritage, the Musée de la Métallurgie Ardennaise is a place of memory but also a structure turned towards the future. Tracing the history of Ardennes metallurgy from nailmaking to today's industrial products, thanks to donations from many companies, it has acquired old machines such as a spectacular English hammer and pestle on display outside in the machine garden. This space can satisfy young and old alike thanks to its modern museography and scenography. Equipped with an audio-visual room and an exhibition room, the museum can be given several dimensions, both playful and educational.the site has different modes of operation (visit, conference, school reception).set in a dream setting, between the Meuse and the Ardennes forest, the famous four Aymon sons overlooking the museum, it is both a true testimony to the industrial past of the Meuse and Semoy valleys, and a balcony showcasing the current products.
