Châtel-Montagne is part of the Vichy Montagne Bourbonnaise mountain bike area. From the rental point you have access to the largest mountain bike area in France.
There are several options to suit your level of ability.
The black Grand Roc and Croix du Chat Blanc circuits will delight seasoned mountain bikers.
The red Vé Nizerol circuit, for those with a little time to spare, will take you on a tour of the Châtel-Montagne area.
The blue circuits Le Chemin des Seigneurs and Autour de Châtel-Montagne are ideal for families with younger children.
To discover the commune, 3 short hiking trails are available on foot or by bike: Montmorillon, Bois des Maquisards and Puy du Roc.
GPX points, for your phone or GPS, are available on the website and the "Vichy Randos & VTT" application to guide you along your routes, as well as information sheets for the 3 short trails. If you'd like to take the experience a step further, all the Vichy Montagne Bourbonnaise and Massif des Bois Noirs mountain biking areas and the voie verte are interconnected, offering you a limitless playground for all your riding needs.
It's easy to rent: just choose your rental time. Accessories such as reflective vests, helmets and anti-theft devices will be delivered at the same time as the mountain bike.
A deposit will be deducted from your credit card during the rental period: €1200 for VTTAEs and €400 for adult and children's mountain bikes.
