La Bouriote 81430 Villefranche-d'Albigeois
From Albi, the road to Millau rises gradually. This is the road of wide open spaces, of nature, the Tarn valley is on your left, the Monts d'Alban and Lacaune on the right.
In barely fifteen minutes, you leave the bustle of the Episcopal City and its treasures listed as Unesco World Heritage: Palais de la Berbie, Toulouse-Lautrec Museum, and the imposing Sainte-Cécile Cathedral. From Albi la Rouge (Grand sites Occitanie) with its cobbled streets, you pass through a green landscape, cooler in summer, and arrive in Villefranche d'Albigeois. La Bouriote is 200m away from the village, on a piece of plateau, from where you can reach the valley of the Tarn by secret paths below.
The river has carved impressive meanders here, the most famous of which is that of Ambialet (Petite Cité de caractère 2017). Not far from there, there is also Brousse-le-Château (Remarkable site). A little further on we are in the Aveyron and we visit the Roquefort cellars, the Millau Viaduct.

A U-shaped farm where on one side is the Ancienne Forge (which can accommodate five people), on the other the owners' house and in the middle the Etable, a gîte for eight people. No opposite. Terrace with nice view on the hills and the Ségala overlooking the Tarn valley, garden furniture under the pergola, barbecue.

Ground floor: living room with fully equipped open kitchen, direct access to the terrace, bedroom (double bed 140x190), shower room with large walk-in shower, toilet.

On the first floor (step by step staircase), an attic bedroom for three people (a double bed 140x190 and a single bed 80x200). Wood stove and electric heating. Laundry service (washing machine and dryer). Possibility of renting sheets, towels and cleaning service at the end of your stay for an extra charge. Children's play area.

Stéphanie and André have themselves restored this old building to which the inhabitants of Villefranche d'Albigeois are very attached. Close to Albi and the Tarn Valley, take advantage of the tranquillity of the place to recharge your batteries!
The gîte has its own terrace with a view of the plateau to relax in complete privacy.
There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, as well as a bicycle room and a caretaker.

The owners own equestrian horses and offer individual and group accommodation for riding or training.

Cycling, motorcycling, horse riding and hiking are all available in the vicinity of the gîte for your enjoyment.
The owner, Stéphanie, also has a workshop where you can relax and take advantage of her advice on phytotherapy, floral therapy and adapted massages (well-being).
