Le Chalet de Jo - Teinturier Florence
About 20 years ago, this 18th-century farmhouse was tastefully converted into a holiday home by an English couple who had fallen in love with the region. "Jo's Chalet" is located just above Morillon village, on the edge of the Alpine pastures.
Florence and Joël Teinturier extend a warm welcome and give this venue a family feel. After more than 30 years of experience in the hotel and restaurant business, they have their hearts set on sharing this cosseted atmosphere with you and helping you discover all the tourist attractions and facilities of the Giffre Valley. Whether you come in summer or winter, you'll be enchanted by the panoramic views and the wide range of activities to be enjoyed here.
Mountain pleasures are made for sharing!!
That is why Florence and Joël searched for the perfect place for you to enjoy your next holiday with family or friends.
"Jo's Chalet" comfortably accommodates 12 to 15 people, thanks to:
• 4 cosy bedrooms,
• 5 bathrooms,
• 2 lounge areas which double-up as sleeping areas.
The chalet features an impressively bright living area with huge patio doors that open onto the East-facing patio, offering panoramic views over the Criou, or of Morillon by night, which you can enjoy from the jacuzzi or sauna. On the other patio, which faces South, you can make the most of the sunshine to top up your tan or cook a meal on the barbecue.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area allows you to concoct a meal for your friends without missing out on the conversation, while the high kitchen table is ideal for serving drinks to a privileged few come to admire the work of the "chef"!
In the living room, the fire in the woodburner attracts all eyes from the TV corner, pool table, lounge area, dining table or the East patio.
Next to the lounge area, an American pool table offers a wonderful way to unwind.
Screen addicts will also get their fill with internet access, a television, a DVD player and a Wii game console, while a selection of board games and shelves full of books will help others to forget their day-to-day stress with all-round fits of laughter.
A woodburner and subfloor heating ensure you relax in a lovely warm, cosy atmosphere after your day in the mountains.
Hospitality: your first breakfast is provided and a typical Savoy aperitif will be served on your first evening.
If you wish, we can take care of your ski hire, lift pass and tuition arrangements.
