Rio Provence

The gîte consists of two independent units: Rio Lavande (4 pers) and Rio Tilleul (5-7 pers), which can be rented together or separately. Maricel and Xavier, a French-Cuban couple, will be delighted to welcome you and help you discover the region and the multitude of nature sports available in the area.

Independent gîte. First floor: fitted kitchen opening onto the living room, dining area, lounge with sofa bed (1x140), access to bedroom with double bed (1x160), bathroom and toilet. Upstairs: three bedrooms, one with two single beds (2x90), one with a double bed (1x160) and one with three single beds (3x90), shower room, wc, second kitchen area and living room. Private swimming pool (10x5m, unheated, open May-September, weather permitting), pétanque and volleyball courts. The Ouvèze river beside the gîte is a popular spot for swimming. On the wings of the season, upstairs heating is provided by electric space heaters. Good 4G coverage. Parking on the property. Our gîte, located in the heart of the Parc régional des Baronnies Provençales, is part of an eco-responsible approach. This involves reducing energy consumption, using renewable energies, eliminating plastics and using ecological cleaning products. The hosts strive to maintain the 2-hectare garden using permaculture, i.e. in harmony with surrounding nature, multiplying fertile interactions and employing elements that fulfill several functions in order to move towards a form of self-sufficiency. Light pollution is virtually non-existent, and the sky is of exceptional quality. Nearby attractions include Provencal markets, hilltop villages, the wine route, the thermal baths of Montbrun les Bains, river swimming in the Ouveze next to the gîte, rock climbing, via ferrata, hiking and mountain biking. Close to Mont Serein, Mont Ventoux, Avignon, Orange and Vaison la Romaine.
